4Buda Smash
It seems that nobody is going to stop the smash burger craze – this global food trend is thriving on both sides of the Atlantic. Located along the fashionable Bartók Béla Boulevard, Buda Smash has established itself as a serious rival to the better-known Smashy across the Danube. The setup is similar: the radically minimalist menu features two kinds of cheeseburgers, some fries, soda, and beer, that's it. The smashed, crusted patty is fully integrated with the melted cheese and the pliant bun and it is very tasty. Given the ecological footprint of smash burgers, I try to limit my burger consumption which is difficult because smash burgers are really delicious. Service is quick, no lines for now!
