The furniture cafe

The furniture cafe started out as an exhibition space where customers could buy the quirky chairs and sofas while sipping coffee. The company (das möbel) has since opened a proper furniture store and this space, along the fashionable Burggasse in District 7, transformed into a full-blown cafe. Still, no two tables or chairs are identical. The nondescript entrance hides a big cafe where finding an open table is a challenge on most days.

This is mainly a work space, so no one will chase you out for whipping out your laptop for a couple of hours. Unlike at some other establishments further up the street, the vibes are laidback and unpretentious, and the coffee is on point (sourced from Fürth, a leading local roastery).
