Franziska (Pest)

Franziska is a fashionable breakfast restaurant in Budapest with two locations, one in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, the other on the Buda side. Both the savory egg-based dishes and the sweet stuff – pancakes, waffles, granola – are very solid, with vegan options too. Also here: specialty coffee and specialty teas (the latter sourced from the leading tea store in Budapest: Zhao Zhou). Service is kind and efficient. On weekends, you might have to wait out the line.
