Lärm

Discerning electronic music fans start lining up outside Lärm as the clock hits midnight: this dark den on the upper floor of Instant ruin bar is Budapest's hallowed hall for diehard fans of contemporary and experimental electronic music. A venerable group of both local and foreign musicians rotate behind the DJ booth on Friday and Saturday nights (see the event schedule for details). The parties don't usually start in earnest before 2 a.m. and you'll likely have to wait in line before gaining entry. Note that Lärm usually shuts down for the summer months.
