High Note Sky Bar offers some of the most spectacular rooftop views in Budapest. To get to the bar, you'll need to walk through the sumptuous, a bit over-the-top lobby of the five-star Aria boutique hotel and take the elevator to the top floor. The panorama is truly stunning: the Liberty Statue, the Buda Castle, and the St. Stephen’s Basilica all appear within arm’s reach, which in case of the church is practically true.

The cocktail menu features eight classics, including a Sazerac, a Daiquiri, and a Martini, each prepared with a small twist. For example, the Sazerac comes topped with bits of dried and smoked figs. At €9-11, prices aren't unreasonable for the swanky interior and sweeping views. Mocktails and Hungarian wines are also available. If you'd like a bite to eat, the charcuterie and cheese platter (€12) will not disappoint.

Although most enjoyable from the outdoor terrace in the warmer months, High Note Sky Bar also has a cozy indoor section that's open year-round and comes with a full-service bar. Reservations are recommended.
