High Note Sky Bar

High Note Sky Bar offers some of the most spectacular rooftop views in Budapest. To get to the bar, you will need to walk through the sumptuous, a bit over-the-top lobby of the Aria boutique hotel and take the elevator to the top. The panorama is truly stunning: Liberty Statue, Royal Castle, and St. Stephen’s Basilica all appear within arm’s reach, which in case of the church is practically true.

High Note Skybar offers 12 types of signature cocktails, ranging from €10-15, which are supplemented by Hungarian wines and liquors. The most interesting concoctions are the “merry poppies,” which uses poppy seeds-soaked Jack Daniel's, and the “ginmachia” sporting Bombay Sapphire gin, matcha tea, brown rice, and tonic. For snacks or desserts, the charcuterie and cheese platter and the home-made cheesecake are both excellent.

For the best experience, ask for a table on one of the two cantilevered terraces perched above the main space, and the city itself. High Note Sky Bar is open year-round, with an indoor section for the colder months. Reservations are recommended.
