Sample with us a cross-section of the most exciting Hungarian wines currently. You'll learn about Tokaj, the "wine of kings, king of wines," and also some of the lesser known regions that deserve attention. There will reds, whites, sparkling, and natural wines, all made from local grapes and by top producers.

Location: We'll be meeting at HILDA, a cool and easily accessible restaurant in Budapest's downtown.

Length: The tastings go for 1-1.5 hours.

Cost: €45 per person, which includes five wines to taste and snacks.

Presenter: Tas Tóbiás, the founder and editor of Offbeat Budapest, will introduce the wines. He has written extensively about Hungarian wines and regularly visits the producers.
